Golfers rejoice!

The Vancouver Park Board has just announced that you can now enjoy a drink while playing a round at Queen Elizabeth Pitch and Putt and Stanley Park Pitch and Putt.

Starting June 13, visitors can purchase a variety of alcoholic beverages to enjoy on the new patios or throughout the courses.

The beverage selection includes locally produced wine, non-alcoholic cocktails, and beer from Stanley Park Brewing and Steamworks Brewing.

Alcohol service will be available daily from 11 am to 8:30 pm, with last call 30 minutes before course closure.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the Park Board has implemented several guidelines:

  • No outside alcohol is allowed.
  • All alcoholic beverages must be consumed on-site and within the course boundaries.
  • Respect others’ space and keep noise levels appropriate.
  • Dispose of trash properly in nearby waste bins.

This initiative aligns with the Park Board’s broader Think Big Revenue Strategy, which aims to increase commercial revenues and enhance the vibrancy of public spaces.

With the introduction of alcohol service, the pitch and putt courses are set to become even more popular spots for socializing and relaxation.

This move is also seen as a way to support local breweries and businesses, providing them with new avenues to reach customers.
