The Elite 30 list and Top 50 Honouree list were curated by the newly formed Canada Taste Advisors Panel.

It includes respected food critics, culinary media, and frequent diners throughout Canada who are known for their expertise in Chinese cuisine.

Each advisor dined personally at their nominated restaurants within the past 18 months, ensuring selections reflect genuine and first-hand dining experiences.

Organizers say the goal of the Elite 30 is to provide an independent and credible benchmark for Chinese dining excellence across the country, recognizing both long-standing culinary traditions and modern innovation.

With so many honourees based in Metro Vancouver, it’s another reminder that the region remains one of the most vibrant and diverse hubs for Chinese cuisine anywhere in the world.

The final ranked Elite 30 Canada will be announced on October 29 at the Vancouver Club, celebrating the chefs, restaurants, and communities that continue to elevate Chinese gastronomy nationwide.
