One of Vancouver’s most beloved bakeries is headed for the mountains.
Beaucoup Bakery is officially expanding with a third location, this time along the scenic Sea-to-Sky corridor in historic Britannia Village.
The soft opening is set for August 11, with a full grand opening party on August 23.
Located inside a restored 1936 bunkhouse once known as the Ritz Bunkhouse, the new bakery sits brings a French alpine vibe to the coast.

The 2,050 sq. ft café features 50 seats and a patio designed with mid-century modern flair and cozy, rustic touches, including a central fireplace and natural wood details.
Beaucoup Owners and siblings Betty and Jacky Hung are leaning into the relaxed and adventurous spirit of the area.
Betty, the head pastry chef, shared that they hope the new café becomes a destination where people can grab a treat before heading up the mountain, wind down with après ski fondue, or simply meet up with friends.
Guests can expect all the classics Beaucoup is known for, including buttery viennoiseries and sandwiches, alongside a lineup of exclusive offerings.
That includes a rotating menu of house-made donuts, with launch flavours like vanilla-glazed yeasted, black sesame cruller, and strawberry ganache filled.
Also making their debut are two Après-Ski Fondue Sets.
One is sweet with matcha chocolate and baked goods like mini scones and madeleines.
The other is savoury, with cheese fondue paired with croissants, bread, and scones.
On the drink side, Jacky has developed a special Britannia Beach menu featuring new tea-based drinks and fizzy matcha creations made with Paragon Tea.
Launch drinks include Mango Marché, Guava Lumière, and Shizuoka Matcha Blanc.
The expansion into Britannia Village marks Beaucoup Bakery’s third BC location, joining their original spot on Fir Street in Vancouver and their second location at the St. Regis Hotel.
It also marks a new chapter for the revitalized Britannia Village, which has transformed into a destination for travelers, complete with restaurants, EV chargers, and mountain views.
As one of the first stops on Highway 99 heading toward Whistler, the new café feels perfectly placed for locals and road trippers alike to stock up on fresh pastries and relax before the next leg of their journey.
