Vancouver’s Largest Hot Chocolate Festival Returns This Month With 100+ Unique Drinks

Get ready to indulge in the ultimate winter treats soon!

The annual Hot Chocolate Festival (now called Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival) is back this month to warm your hearts and taste buds.

The festival will be going on from January 13 to February 14, 2024.

This beloved event, first launched in 2011, has become a hallmark of Vancouver’s winter season, bringing together the best chocolatiers, pastry shops, bakeries, and cafes.

What’s Brewing This Year?

Celebrating its 14th anniversary, the festival is expected to feature over 100 unique hot chocolate drinks from 70 local vendors.

Last year, the festival boasted an impressive 143 hot chocolate creations across 60+ vendors.

Each venue puts a special twist on the iconic winter drink, ranging from classic flavours to more innovative and aesthetic concoctions like Fufu Pancake Cafe’s Mi-so Cheesy, Whisk Matcha Cafe’s Kyoto Snow, Honolulu Cafe’s Raincouver.

It is a time when local cafes strut their creative muscles!

This year’s flavours have yet to be announced but we bet there will be some hard hitters again!
