Vancouver’s New $12.50 Ramen Spot Opens in City Square [With Menu]

After Nine Dumplings quietly shut down in City Square this past September, many wondered what might take its place.

Now, a new family-owned ramen shop has stepped in to fill the space.

A Noms Mag community member (@estherysli) spotted signage for Kojima Ramen, which has opened inside the City Square food court, just steps from Broadway–City Hall Station.

The menu keeps things simple and wallet-friendly.

You’ll find ramen options like Tonkotsu Ramen made with pork broth, chashu, a soft-boiled egg, and spicy tare sauce, as well as a Vegan Tan Tan Ramen made with sesame broth, deep-fried tofu, mushrooms, and bean sprouts.

Each bowl costs $12.50, making it one of the more affordable ramen options in the area.

Beyond ramen, the stall serves a few rice bowls like Teriyaki Chicken, Gyudon Beef, and a signature Kojima Poke Rice Bowl with cooked salmon, pork chashu, and fresh veggies – all around $12.50.

Combo sets are also available, letting diners pair ramen or rice bowls with side dishes like salad or mochi, and drinks such as iced matcha tea or hot yuzu honey tea for $15.50.

While the Broadway–City Hall area already boasts several established ramen spots, Kojima Ramen offers a more casual approach.

Its friendly service, lower prices, and convenient location inside the food court make it an easy choice for workers and students nearby looking for a comforting bowl.

Kojima Ramen now joins other recently opened Vancouver food spots like Eldoria, Angus T Marine Drive, and TWK.
