If you have been missing your fix of authentic Mutabbal and Kibbeh in Kitsilano, don’t worry.
Tayybeh hasn’t disappeared.
In fact, they have just leveled up.
The beloved Syrian restaurant, popular for its incredible food and even better mission, has officially packed up its original Kitsilano space and moved to a brand-new home in Mount Pleasant.

They soft opened at 151 West Broadway earlier this month, where they are now serving up the same heartwarming hospitality, but in a much larger space.
For those new to the name, Tayybeh (which means “kind” or “delicious” in Arabic) is more than just a restaurant.
It is a social enterprise run by a team of newcomer Syrian women chefs, providing them with employment and a platform to share their culinary heritage.

The new location continues this mission, offering a menu filled with authentic dishes that taste exactly like home.
With the expanded dining room, Tayybeh is officially relaunching its signature Syrian Brunch on weekends, featuring shareable plates designed for a slow, social start to the day.
Even more exciting is the return of their Daily Middle Eastern High Tea.
Forget cucumbers and cream cheese—think handcrafted sweet and savory Syrian bites served with aromatic Arabic tea or traditional coffee.
The new Mount Pleasant unit is designed for gathering.

Unlike the previous intimate space, this location is built to handle everything from casual weekday lunches to private event bookings like weddings and corporate parties.
It is a flexible, warm environment that encourages diners to linger and connect.
While the doors are already open, the team is throwing a proper Grand Opening Celebration this Sunday, February 1st, starting at 12 PM, and everyone is invited to welcome them to the neighbourhood.
Tayybeh joins other recently opened food spots in Vancouver like Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria, Paragon Tea Room Cambie 3.0, and Glasshouse.
Address: 151 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC
