VERONI & CO., a hidden gem tucked away on the second level of Hannam Plaza on North Road, is setting the stage for an exciting expansion.
The espresso bar and micro-roaster, known for its meticulous approach to coffee, is opening a larger second location across from Glen Park in Coquitlam.

Will’s journey into the world of espresso began with a stint at a bustling brunch cafe, where he slowly learned the art of coffee brewing and ignited his deep desire to own his own coffee shop.
With limited resources, Will’s dream materialized through a makeshift coffee cart back in 2016, marking the humble beginnings of what would become VERONI & CO.
What to Expect at Veroni & Co. Coquitlam (V2)
According to Will, the new Coquitlam outlet, dubbed VERONI & CO. Coquitlam (V2), aims to replicate the essence of the original Burnaby location.
But he teased us that there would be some differences!
- Espresso Offerings: The coffee menu will closely mirror that of the Burnaby spot, ensuring that customers can expect the same high-quality, consistent espresso drinks Veroni is known for.
- Seasonal Drinks: Though seasonal beverages may debut slightly slower as the team navigates the soft opening phase, customers can look forward to unique, innovative options.
- Baked Goods: A new addition to the menu will be an array of baked goods, enhancing the coffee experience with sweet and savory treats. These offerings are also planned to be introduced at the Burnaby location.
- Indoor Seating: Unlike the original cafe setup, the new location will feature indoor seating, inviting customers to linger over their coffee in a comfortable, welcoming space.
Will also told Noms Magazine that they plan to open in Q3/Q4 of this year, or possibly soft open earlier if circumstances allow.
This expansion not only marks a significant milestone for VERONI & CO. but also enriches the local coffee scene, offering a space where the community can gather and appreciate the art of espresso!
