Popular Vietnamese Pho Chain Spotted Opening New Vancouver Location

Looks like one of Metro Vancouver’s favourite pho chains is quietly expanding again!

We spotted a “Coming Soon” sign for Pho 37 at the old Fish Counter unit on Commercial Drive, which closed earlier this month.

This marks what will be the brand’s second Vancouver location and fourth overall in Metro Vancouver.

Richmond locals are likely familiar with the name.

Pho 37 is a longtime Vietnamese restaurant, known for its authentic noodle soup and rice dishes – with a location at Richmond’s Union Square and Ironwood Plaza.

The menu is simple and ordinary, with common Vietnamese dishes you’d find at most pho spots.

From the famous Vietnamese noodle soup to the chicken wings with fish sauce, Vietnamese beef carpaccio, and its signature number 37 dish, Tuan’s Special Beef Noodle Soup.

The new Commercial Drive location hasn’t been officially announced yet on any of Pho 37’s social channels.

However they have teased about a new location coming to Vancouver, just not exactly where.

So the details like opening date or menu tweaks remain under wraps for now.

But based on the size of the unit (comparable to their Ironwood outpost) it’s likely we’ll see their standard offerings.

The Pho 37 on Commercial Drive now joins a lineup of upcoming Vancouver food spots like UCHU, Kavita, and Matcha Matcha.
