Paragon Tea Room just dropped the ULTIMATE summer giveaway and itโs the kind of thing matcha lovers dream of!
The Vancouver-based tea house has officially launched their โWhisked Away to Japanโ campaign, giving one lucky winner (and their travel buddy) the chance to jet off to Japan in Spring 2026.
Yep, the grand prize is two round-trip tickets to Japan, a guided tea farm tour, and an exclusive visit to a hojicha factory in Shizuoka.
The campaign kicked off July 21 and runs until August 22, 2025.
Paragon has long been a staple for matcha and hojicha lovers in Metro Vancouver, known for their direct-sourced teas and modern take on tea culture.
Now theyโre turning the whole city into a “matcha trail.”
Every time you order a matcha drink or matcha treat at a participating location, youโll be given a physical raffle ticket for the Japan trip grand prize and for their weekly prize draw.
Note: According to the contest rules (full details here), you must be 19 years old or older to enter.
Participating spots include:
- Paragon Team Room (all locations)
- Avik Cafe,
- Honolulu Coffee (all locations),
- Mister Ice Cream (Robson & Yaletown),
- Fife Bakery,
- NaMi Vietnamese,
- Cafeclub,
- Juillet Cafe,
- Saan Saan Cafe,
- Beaucoup Bakery (all locations), and
- Salty Sugar Patisserie.
These arenโt random partners either.
Many of them have worked with Paragon for years and use their matcha powder, and co-founder Michelle Cheung says this campaign is about celebrating that journey.
โItโs incredible to see partners like Mister Ice Cream and Fife Bakery, who have trusted our tea for years, take it and create something new and exciting throughout the year,โ said Cheung.
But more than just a trip, this is Paragonโs way of bringing their philosophy full circle.
That is, to build connections over tea, while giving Vancouverโs tea-loving community a chance to explore the roots of their favourite drink in Japan itself.
The campaign is only running until August 22, so youโve got one month to chase matcha and collect those raffle tickets.
