The wait is over, and the boxes are (literally) massive.

After spotting their signage back in November, Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria, has officially opened its doors, Monday, January 12th.

The LA-famous brand is known for holding the Guinness World Record for the “World’s Largest Deliverable Pizza”.

The star of the show is the Giant Sicilian, a 54-inch by 54-inch beast that cuts into 200 slices and serves over 50 people.

@deannawoo The world’s largest pizza and pizza slice just arrived in Vancouver. The world’s largest pizza is 54 x 54 inches which serves 50 people and makes about 200 slices. The world’s largest slice is 28 x 38 inches which feeds 5-7 people! 📍Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria – 2655 Arbutus Street, Vancouver #vancouver #vancouverbc #pizza ♬ un homme et une femme – 🎀

But with its size comes its price – a cool $349.99.

If you don’t have 50 friends but still want to be a legend, they also offer the “World’s Biggest Pizza Slice.”

This ofcourse isn’t a normal slice.

It measures 28 inches by 38 inches, serves 5 to 7 people, and costs $49.99.

Beyond the viral gimmicks, the shop is actually set up for affordable daily eats.

They do have some aggressive deals:

  • 99 Cent Wings: Available in orders of 8, 16, or 24.
  • The “Best Deal in Town”: A Large 14″ pizza with 2 toppings for just $17.99.
  • Dine-In Steals: For $9.99, you can grab a Philly Cheese Steak, Spaghetti, or their unique One Egg Gondola (The “Canadian”).

For those catching up, this isn’t just a random oversized pizza shop.

The brand started in Los Angeles in 1992 by brothers Aro and Allen Agakhanyan, who wanted to satisfy massive appetites with a Southern California vibe.

This Arbutus shop marks their first-ever store in British Columbia.

Big Mama’s and Papa’s joins a suddenly buzzing food district, opening alongside other newcomers like Caravanserai, Glass House, and Crave Cheesesteaks.
