BC just got a huge nod on the country’s most-watched fine dining list.
Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants 2026 list dropped this week, and 19 BC restaurants made the cut, with 14 in Vancouver alone.
The list was unveiled at the annual ceremony on May 4 in Toronto.

AnnaLena, the Kitsilano contemporary tasting menu room, is BC’s highest ranked entry at no. 12, holding strong inside the national top 20.
Three more Vancouver spots landed in the top 20.
Kissa Tanto came in at no. 15, the Japanese-Italian dining room with rose-hued banquettes and a 1960s Tokyo jazz cafe feel.
Sumibiyaki Arashi at no. 17 added another big year to its run.

The 14-seat yakitori counter recently picked up a Michelin star, and Canada’s 100 Best singled out its fire-driven cooking and intimate room.
Published on Main rounded out the BC top 20 at no. 20.
Beyond the top 20, Vancouver kept going.
Le Crocodile by Rob Feenie came in at no. 26, June at no. 29, Burdock & Co. at no. 33, and St. Lawrence at no. 40.
Boulevard sits at no. 59, Chez Céline at no. 60, Botanist at no. 64, and Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge at no. 67.
Elem landed at no. 80 and Kavita at no. 96, closing out the city’s 14 entries.
Outside the city, Richmond took two spots.

Baan Lao, the Royal Thai dining room in Steveston, came in at no. 24 and remains one of the highest-ranked Thai restaurants in the country.
The Fish Man, the Cantonese seafood specialist, made the list at no. 90.
Pluvio in Ucluelet held its place at no. 69, keeping Vancouver Island fine dining on the national radar.
Wild Blue in Whistler came in at no. 83, and Galiano Island favourite Pilgrimme landed at no. 84.
Nationally, the top spot went to Restaurant Pearl Morissette in Jordan Station, Ontario.
Vancouver tied with the upper tier of Canadian dining cities. Montreal led with 28 entries and Toronto landed 23, with Vancouver’s 14 putting the city firmly in the top three nationally.
For diners building out a 2026 BC restaurant year, the list is a useful starting point.
