Aberdeen Centre Food Court Finally Reveals One of Its Newest Food Stalls

Richmondโ€™s food court scene has been extra busy lately, with a wave of closures, new faces, and reshuffled units across multiple malls.

And Aberdeen Centre has been right in the thick of it.

Back in April 2024, we reported that the mall has cleared out the old arcade area to make space for two new food stalls as part of their renovation.

Now, more than a year later, we finally have our first clue about whatโ€™s moving in.

This week, we spotted new signage for something called Taiwan Bento 101 plastered across one of the under-construction stall exteriors.

No official menu or branding just yet, but based on the name, it’s safe to expect the upcoming stall to serve up traditional Taiwanese lunch boxes.

Possibly Taiwanese popcorn chicken, Taiwanese sausage, a soy sauce egg sliced in half, and pickled mustard greens?

These kinds of bentos are popular for being fast, filling, and full of comforting homestyle flavour.

Although thereโ€™s no official website or social media yet, Taiwan Bento 101 is already listed in the Aberdeen Centre website directory, giving the teaser a bit more legitimacy.

As for the adjacent stall, that’s still a mystery.

The new stall now joins a growing list of upcoming vendors being added to Aberdeen Centre food court, including the Egyptian BBQ concept LUCA and Maxโ€™s To Go, which is moving into the former Potato Corner space.
