As the year comes to a close, you’d think that food businesses are busy catering to the Christmas and New Year madness.
But that’s not the case for Big Way Hot Pot, the city’s most popular hot pot chain – which isn’t pushing the brakes on their expansions.
Yesterday we shared that a community member spotted signage for their upcoming West End outpost that has been hush-hush.
Today December 20th, Big Way announced a barrage of new locations and progress updates to previously announced locations.
The West End location is set to soft open on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024.
It is taking over the previous Menya Itto unit, which shuttered back in November.
That will be the self serve personalized hot pot’s second downtown Vancouver outpost.
Their announcement also states that the Coquitlam Centre location is set to soft open on Monday, December 23rd, 2024.
That outpost is taking over the previous Famoso Pizzeria unit.
Other new locations announced are locations at Lougheed, Langley, Victoria, and Gilmore – all of which are slated for sometime in 2025.
A new location in Scarborough, Toronto was also listed.
The UBC outpost – which was originally slated for September 2024 – is now pushed to Jan/Feb 2025.
It’s clear that the Big Way CRAZE isn’t stopping in 2025 and we’re all for it!
