One of K-pop’s biggest stars has been spotted in Metro Vancouver, and fans can’t stop talking about it.
On August 26, short clips and photos of Blackpink’s Jennie Kim enjoying food and drinks with friends on the patio of Isetta Cafe in West Vancouver began circulating on TikTok and X.

The star is on vacation before she heads back on tour and gears up to work on Blackpink’s upcoming album.
Isetta Cafe has become a bit of a gem in West Vancouver since its transformation in 2022.
Housed in a striking mid-century modern building from 1962, the cafe sits between the ocean and the North Shore mountains, making it a picturesque stop.
The building has lived many lives as a post office, pharmacy, and convenience store, but now it thrives as a bistro and community space.
Its name comes from the quirky 1950s Isetta microcar, a collaboration between BMW and an Italian manufacturer, which can sometimes still be spotted driving around the area.
The cafe bistro has also become a haven for cyclists and car enthusiasts.
This isn’t Jennie’s first time in British Columbia.

Last August, she was also seen with the same group of friends to support an Animals x Reebok collaboration launch and at the Capilano Suspension Bridge.
Fans were disappointed that Vancouver was skipped on Blackpink’s most recent world tour, with Toronto as the only Canadian stop.
So, although she isn’t here on tour, K-pop fans can hope for that to change in the future.
