Mister Artisan Ice Cream Opens New Location on Vancouver’s Robson Street

Hey, ice cream lovers! Here’s the scoop on the coolest news in town.

Mister Artisan Ice Cream, the city’s beloved liquid nitrogen ice cream shop, is opening a new location along busy Robson Street.

This sweet news is a breath of fresh air amidst recent restaurant closures.

From a Dream to Creamy Reality

Mister has been chilling in Vancouver since 2016, thanks to the cool vision of co-owners Tommy Choi and Michael Lai. These guys turned a simple idea into a creamy, dreamy reality.

Their unique approach? Liquid nitrogen.

This method freezes the ice cream rapidly at super low temperatures, creating a rich, creamy texture without needing stabilizers or fillers.

Every scoop of Mister’s ice cream is a masterpiece. Made from scratch with pure, natural ingredients, each cup is made to order. The result?

A creamy, dense, and smooth delight that’s different from your regular ice cream. Mister isn’t just about taste; it’s about the experience.

The nitrogen process not only makes the ice cream smoother but also turns the making of each scoop into a fascinating show.

A Flavour for Every Palate

Mister is all about keeping things fresh and exciting.

Their flavours are a blend of uniqueness and seasonality, ensuring there’s always something new to try.

From Buttered Popcorn to Goji Granola and Genmaicha, their ever-changing menu keeps you coming back for more.

And if that’s not enough, they occasionally team up with other local food spots for some out-of-the-box flavours like the jalapeño honey ice cream sando, in collaboration with Downlow Chicken Shack.

The Third Charm

The new 768 ft. Robson Street location is Mister’s third in Vancouver and second downtown, following their expansion into Kitsilano in March 2022.

It takes over a previous women’s clothing store called Habit of Urban.

For now there isn’t any new information about the new outpost, but most locals know that Robson Street is a hot spot for foot traffic.

But that hotspot comes with a hefty price tag.

Even though Robson Street has multiple spots for a frozen treat (D’oro, Bella Gelateria, Perverted, Bon Crepe, MeetFresh), it isn’t stopping the brand from springing up.

After all, there are ridiculous lines at every ice cream shop during spring and summer.

So we don’t doubt that this spot is set to become a new favourite for both locals and tourists alike, offering a cool escape in the heart of the city.

Once we get more info about its opening, we’ll let you know.
