Burnaby foodies, a new convenient and fairly priced food spot is landing in the area soon!
Dragon Bowl, the popular Chinese build-your-own-bowl concept, is set to open its very first Burnaby location near Metrotown.
We spotted menu signage going up at the former Onezo Tapioca unit, which closed its doors back in the February 2024.
While an official opening date hasn’t been announced, it looks like we can expect this new addition sometime in January.
For those unfamiliar with Dragon Bowl, the concept is simple, customizable, and delicious.
Start by choosing your bowl size—ranging from a kids’ portion to a large size.
Then, pick your protein, with options like chicken thigh, beef slices, pork tenderloin, vegan choices, lamb shoulder, or jumbo shrimp.
Next, select one of their seven flavorful sauces, including Dragon Sauce, Spicy Dragon, Curry Sauce, Black Pepper, or the fiery Hot Devil Chili.
Finally, pick your base—white rice, or upgrade to brown rice, spring salad, or noodles.
Each bowl also comes with three side dishes, making it a full and satisfying meal.
And feel free to make it a combo by adding a braised egg, drink or soup to your bowl!
Known for its good food, fair pricing, and convenience, Dragon Bowl has already built a following at its locations in Downtown Vancouver, Richmond, and New Westminster.
The upcoming Burnaby location is sure to attract locals looking for a quick, affordable, and customizable meal option.
Will you be stopping by to build your perfect bowl?
