Vancouverโs dining scene never sits still.
And the corner of West Pender and Seymour proves it.
Kim House, a compact Asian fusion sushi joint with 30 seats, served Vietnamese cuisine, sushi, and drinks.
Crowd-favourites included pho, banh mi, their signature rolls, and combos that were loved by the downtown office and student crowd.
The inside was straightforward and functional, with wide frontage windows that kept the small space feeling brighter than youโd expect.
The restaurant held a 4.3-star rating on Google, with reviews praising the friendly service, affordable price, and reliable food options.
However, this corner has seen several restaurant turnovers in the last six years.
Kim House is only the latest in a string of concepts to take a shot at this busy intersection, which sits in the middle of steady downtown foot traffic.
The unit, sadly, eventually went on the market.
At 750 sq. ft., the listing suggests it could be converted to another food or beverage concept with a simple menu.
It made clear that Kim House is approaching its final days.
This listing adds Kim House to the growing list of Vancouver restaurants now up for sale, alongside Bada and Kurotaki.
