Dragon Ball Tea House In Limbo? The Mystery Behind the Closed Doors

Dragon Ball Tea House is an OG spot for bubble tea in Vancouver. It’s a place that many locals have been visiting since high school (us included). It is most known for its simple assortment of bubble teas, from classic flavours to some unique ones.

In June of 2022, Dragon Ball Tea House posted a sign on their door saying they’d be closed ‘till September 2022, which we assume is for their annual vacation. But here we are, over 6 months later, and the shop is still not open!

Although not the flashiest or most modern kind of spot, locals who grew up drinking Dragon Ball can’t help but notice it is still closed. And with no social presence or way of getting an update, people have been left in the dark or making google reviews asking when they will reopen.

We recently drove by to check in and still see the same sign on their door. There was also a growing pile of mail near the door.

For now there is no telling when the OG bubble tea shop will reopen, but we’ll keep an eye out and inform you when we get any updates.
