The Lougheed and Ktown area (North Road) has been seriously popping over the past year with numerous new food spots and changes.
One of the latest developments, SOCO by Anthem, is a massive mixed use community beside H-Mart.
Our community members (@kiisumii & @raincouvereatery) spotted a “Coming Soon” sign on the ground floor of one of the buildings.
And yes, it’s for Sushi Mura, the Korean-run Japanese chain.
Sushi Mura has been a popular spot for sushi lovers since it first opened on Oak Street in 2012.
Over the years, it has slowly expanded its footprint, with locations in Richmond Oval, River District, Mount Pleasant, and Port Moody.
Now, it’s Lougheed’s turn to experience what makes Sushi Mura so beloved: generous portions, flavourful dishes, and beautiful presentation—all at a reasonable price.
Whether you’re in the mood for sushi rolls, sashimi, donburi, or udon, Sushi Mura has something for everyone.
It’s the kind of place where you can satisfy your sushi cravings without breaking the bank.
This will be Sushi Mura’s 6th outpost in Metro Vancouver.
While there’s no official opening date yet, the anticipation is already building.
Sushi Mura will be joining other upcoming food spots like Stone KBBQ and Big Way Hot Pot, making Lougheed and Ktown even more of a dining destination.
And if that’s not enough, right next door will be the upcoming Paris Baguette, the Korean-French bakery café chain that’s seriously expanding across Canada.
