If you thought the Kingsway & Victoria Drive area already had enough Vietnamese options, think again.
The street known as Vancouver’s “Little Saigon” is about to welcome a major new player.
We recently spotted “Coming Soon” signage up at 2155 Kingsway, right beside the Fresh Slice.

The posters confirm that Pho Anh Vu is finally expanding into Vancouver proper.
The new location is situated just a block up from the Kensington Gardens T&T Supermarket.
This is a massive move for the brand, which only just made its BC debut earlier this year.
They opened their first-ever West Coast outpost in Richmond’s Garden City Plaza back in February 2025.
Before arriving here, the chain built a cult following in Toronto with nine locations across Eastern Canada.

They are famous for ranking among Toronto’s top pho spots since 2019.
While the restaurant has not officially announced this specific Vancouver location yet, the window wraps tell the full story.
The Pho Anh Vu team shared with Noms Magazine that this East Vancouver outpost will have a similar menu to the Richmond location.
That means a menu packed with their signature Pho Dac Biet and Hai Phong-style spicy vermicelli fish soup.

You can also expect the interior to mirror the sleek, modern aesthetic that set their Richmond spot apart from the typical hole-in-the-wall joints.
The team also shared that they are aiming for a Spring 2026 opening.
Pho Anh Vu Vancouver now joins a lineup of upcoming food spots, including Raclette Steaks, Big Way Mount Pleasant, and Time Out Market Vancouver.
