Viral Mango BBT Chain ‘MACU Tea’ Soft Opens Burnaby Outpost

There is no doubt that MACU Tea is the most popular spot in Richmond.

If you’ve walked by this summer, you’ll likely see a MASSIVE line out its door of customers craving their Mango drinks.

Last month we shared that the popular Taiwanese bubble tea chain is opening their first Burnaby outpost.

They shared with Noms Magazine that the Burnaby location will be located in the Old Orchard Shopping Centre and is taking over the previous Bobami location, who closed in late May.

Well, the time is finally here for Burnaby residents to get their MACU Tea fix!

The team has shared with Noms Magazine that they will be soft opening the Burnaby outpost this Saturday, August 17th.

Note that during the soft opening phase, there is no promo available. It is likely that a BOGO promotion, which the Downtown location held, will occur for the grand opening.

But this is good news for Burnaby residents living around the Metrotown area!

As you’ll be able to enjoy their uber-popular fresh fruit “drinking desserts” (it is what they call them) after some hot pot at ChoCho, Big Way or Korean BBQ at the upcoming Galbi restaurant.

Share this news with your bubble tea loving friend!
