Vancouver’s popular Mexican-Japanese fusion spot, Miso Taco, is on the move.
Known for its generous portions and flavourful fillings, Miso Taco is saying goodbye to its Chinatown Union Street location and settling into a new home in Cambie Village starting September 1st.
Opened in June 2023, Miso Taco quickly became a hit, taking over the old Darkside unit on Union Street.
Their creative menu features items like the Breakfast Burrito, Kimchi Nacho Fries with Chicken Karaage, Teriyaki Taco Bowl with Pork Chashu, and the much-loved Miso Margarita.
It’s a blend of bold Mexican flavours and Japanese influences that keeps customers coming back for more.
Back in March 2024, we reported spotting a listing for Miso Taco’s current location.
At the time, the team mentioned they were exploring options but ultimately changed plans.
The move to Cambie Street isn’t just about a new address.
The team told Noms Magazine that the primary reason for the relocation is to expand and better serve their growing customer base.

Miso Taco will be operating at their Union Street spot for the rest of August, with a special collaboration on the wine and beer menu with La Cerveceria Astilleros as a parting gift to fans.
