After grand opening Gordon Ramsay Steak and a visit by the famed celebrity chef himself, River Rock Casino Resort isn’t done with its food upgrades.

Miku is officially coming to River Rock Casino this summer.

The award-winning and Michelin Recommended Japanese restaurant is expanding beyond its Coal Harbour flagship.

And ofcourse it’s bringing its signature flame-seared sushi and innovative Japanese-West Coast fusion to a brand-new waterfront location in Richmond.

This marks Miku’s second Metro Vancouver outpost and a significant milestone for Aburi Restaurants Canada, which first introduced Oshi Sushi to Canada back in 2008.

“We have many loyal guests who live in Richmond and with its proximity to the Vancouver International Airport, River Rock is an ideal setting for our second Miku location in Metro Vancouver” says Seigo Nakamura, Founder and CEO of Aburi Restaurants Canada.

Miku’s arrival is yet another power move for the casino’s 20th-anniversary celebration.

According to Wayne Odegard, Regional VP of River Rock Casino Resort, the addition of Miku will further elevate the casino’s dining experience.

“Anyone who has dined at Miku understands the exceptional quality and artistry behind their cuisine. Miku is a fantastic addition to our dynamic entertainment destination,” he shares.

If you haven’t tried their Aburi Salmon Oshi Sushi, consider this your sign—it’s a perfectly flame-seared bite of heaven.

Alongside their nigiri, sashimi, and intricate seafood creations, expect a curated selection of sake and handcrafted cocktails to match the experience.

The restaurant is expected to open this summer with further details to be announced closer to the opening.
