New 24 Hour Food Court Opening In Richmond And It Will Offer 3 Popular Items

Richmondโ€™s food scene is never short on surprises, and another big one is now on the way.

While driving along No. 3 Road, we spotted signage for a brand-new 24 Hour Food Court popping up across from Kam Do Plaza.

According to the bright orange lettering, the future “food court” will serve dim sum, BBQ, and hot pot, three categories that rank among the cityโ€™s most popular dining styles.

Because there isn’t much information out, it is uncertain whether it is actually a food court or simply a restaurant named “The Food Court”.

There was also a 24 hour spot named Food Court along Kingsway before, so this could be just a revival.

The location is taking over the former Lurou Fan Tasty unit, which has been empty since Spring 2024.

And a quick peek inside shows renovations are only just getting started.

Construction materials, stacked chairs, and unfinished ceilings suggest that opening day is still some time away.

When it comes to late-night food spots in Richmond, the city has fewer options than one might expect.

That makes a 24-hour food court an especially interesting addition.

If this is completely brand new – the success will likely depend on the quality and pricing of its offerings, especially in a city where dim sum and hot pot are really competitive categories.

After all, they’ll have to battle it out against Big Way and ChoCho, both whom also close quite late.

For now, there are no further details about this upcoming food court.

It will be joining the list of upcoming Richmond food spots that includes Savor Hill, Lรคderach, and Taiwan Bento 101.
