We’ve spotted signs that Chocolats Favoris, a Quebec-based chocolate and ice cream shop known for its luxurious real chocolate dips, is opening its first Vancouver outpost.
They are taking over the former Gastown Native Shoes unit.
Since its humble beginnings in 1979, Chocolats Favoris has grown into a destination for chocolate enthusiasts.
What makes them stand out?
Their signature ice cream, coated in one of over 12 rich, real chocolate flavours, has become legendary across Canada.
If you’re craving a classic milk chocolate dip or an adventurous surprise flavour like Black Forest Cake, Chocolats Favoris has got it and transforms each scoop into a tasty decadent dessert experience.
Beyond ice cream offerings, Chocolats Favoris is a celebration of craftsmanship.
Every item, from their rich chocolate bars to their handmade confectionery, is produced with care at their 42,000-square-foot factory in Quebec City.
Their chocolates are made with premium, all-natural ingredients—no added oils—ensuring each treat is as pure as it is delicious.
They also created the ChocoFav Poutine, a Churros-style dessert fries and mini marshmallows on a bed of soft serve ice cream.
Of course it is topped with your choice of chocolate flavour too!
This new addition is part of the brand’s growing West Coast presence, following its Victoria location.
Although no information is out about its opening date, but it will be a treat once the hotter weather arrives!
