Red Wine and Coke? The Surprisingly Delicious Combo You Need to Try

What if I told you that mixing red wine and Coke could taste amazing?

Sounds a bit wild, right?

Well, that’s exactly what people are raving about. Unlike the bizarre red wine and milk combo, this one actually sounds really good.ย

So, one adventurous creator – Wootak of Bar Chemistry – was given this unique combo by his community and is back with another taste test.

@barchemistry Replying to @Goose where they drink this at??? why dont we do this in america? ๐Ÿค” #wine #cocktails #bartender #bartending #mixology #barchemistry โ™ฌ original sound – BarChemistry

Hereโ€™s the lowdown.

They grabbed a bottle of red wine, a glass of ice, and a can of Coke.

The idea is to mix equal parts, or even more wine than Coke. Start with about five ounces of wine. Trust the pour, even if itโ€™s not exact.

Top it up with Coke until the glass is full.

Give it a good stir, and voila!

Youโ€™ve got yourself a red wine and Coke mix.ย

Now for the taste test.

Wootak took a sip and declared it โ€œgas,โ€ basically like a cola-flavored sangria.

Itโ€™s super easy with just two ingredients and no fuss.ย

But be warned, this drink is packed with sugar. It’s likely a hangover waiting to happen if you overdo it.

Despite that, the Wootak gave it an impressive 8.5 out of 10. He said he would drink this unironically, which says a lot.ย

If youโ€™re curious and want to try something new and weird, this might be your next drink. Itโ€™s a fun twist on the usual wine experience and perfect for a casual night in or a quirky party drink.

Plus, itโ€™s a great conversation starter.

Imagine telling your friends youโ€™re mixing wine with Coke. They might look at you funny at first, but one sip, and theyโ€™ll be intrigued.

And if youโ€™re feeling adventurous, share this cool find with your friends. Who knows, it might become your new favorite drink.

Ready to give it a shot? Letโ€™s toast to trying new things! Cheers!
