If you work along the West Broadway corridor, your list of reliable happy hour spots just got shorter.
Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar has permanently closed its Broadway location.
A Noms Magazine community member (0370van) spotted a closure note taped to the glass doors of the restaurant last week.

The sign confirms that the location is “now permanently closed” and directs guests to visit their remaining location downtown.
A quick search shows the location has already been wiped from their website and tagged as “Permanently Closed” on Google.
The closure appears to have happened recently.
As recently as mid-November, the restaurant’s Instagram page was actively promoting this specific location for a hockey ticket giveaway.

There was no “final week” announcement or farewell party.
Just a locked door and a piece of paper.
This location originally opened back in 2013, marking a decade-long run in the neighbourhood.
Its closure signals a significant shrinking of the Rogue brand.
Longtime locals will remember when they operated a busy outpost at the Convention Centre, which shut down back in 2021.

With the Broadway unit now dark, the chain is down to a single survivor: the location inside Waterfront Station.
For years, this was a go-to utility spot for the area.
It wasn’t trying to be high-concept dining. It was the place you went for 30+ beers on tap, a solid pizza, and a burger that hit the spot after a long shift.
Rogue West Broadway joins a growing list of Vancouver food spots that recently shut down like Sulbing on Robson, Holy Guacamole, and Pablo Cheesetarts.
