Looks like another sweet spot is rolling into Vancouver.
Rollz Ice Cream, a growing Canadian dessert chain known for its Thai-style rolled ice cream, is officially coming to Main Street.
We spotted their signage up across the building from El Gato Gab Gab.
This marks their first location in Vancouver and their second in BC, with one already in Surrey.
If you haven’t heard of Rollz yet, you’re in for a treat (and a bit of a show).
The brand was born in Scarborough, Ontario back in 2017, introducing a made-to-order ice cream experience that blends Thai rolled ice cream techniques with Canadian flavours and flair.
Fast-forward to 2025, and they’ve grown to over 17 locations across the country, winning fans with their colourful stores, vibrant atmosphere, and customizable creations.
Their menu is stacked with options.
You’ll find over 40 rolled ice cream flavours, from Ferrero Rocher, Nutella Crunch, and Oreo Brownie, to seasonal picks like Mango Delight and Wild Strawberry.
There’s also milkshakes like the Earl Grey Biscoff, Berrylicious, and Mmm Mango.
Plus, waffles topped with ice cream, sweet sauces, and all the toppings your inner child could dream of.
At each location, the vibe is meant to be as fun as the flavours.
The rolled ice cream is made fresh on the spot, right in front of you on a frozen metal plate, then scraped into those signature rolls and dressed to impress.
While there’s no exact opening date just yet, we’re hoping Rollz opens just in time for summer.
Rollz will be soon joining the latest wave of dessert and drink openings across the city, including Unni Pastries Yaletown, Chocolat Favoris in Gastown, Paragon Tea Room (Pacific Centre), and Neate’s Donuts.
