The wait is officially over!
After a month of anticipation, Pho Anh Vu has confirmed with Noms Magazine that they will be opening their first BC location in Richmond’s Garden City Plaza on February 9th.
It seems only select people know about this date though as they have yet to announce it publicly on their pages.

If you’ve been craving a steaming hot bowl of pho or a spicy Bun Bo Hue, you won’t have to wait much longer.
For those who missed our earlier report, Pho Anh Vu is a Toronto fan-favorite that has been ranked among the city’s top pho spots since opening in 2019.
With nine locations across Eastern Canada, they’ve now made their way westward, answering the calls of Vancouver visitors who begged for a BC expansion.
And it looks like Richmond is getting the full Pho Anh Vu experience—from their signature Pho Dac Biet (special rice noodle soup) to Hai Phong-style spicy vermicelli fish soup and Bun Cha Hanoi.
Plus, they’ve got fried chicken wings in fish sauce with sticky rice, grilled pork on sugarcane, and beef rib noodle soup for those looking to level up their order.
As for the space? It’s a big one.
It’s sleek, modern, and incredibly spacious, featuring muted green banquettes, warm wooden accents, and woven pendant lighting for that cozy-yet-chic vibe.
The massive bar area adds a touch of sophistication, making it more than just a casual pho joint—it’s a full-on Vietnamese dining experience.
And if you’re wondering what’s next, Pho Anh Vu’s team has already hinted at a Burnaby location coming in 2026.
But for now, Richmond gets first dibs.
And to celebrate their first Richmond location, they are offering 10% OFF grand opening promotion for two weeks long.
They are also open 7 days a week 11AM – 10PM.
So mark your calendars—because February 9th is officially Pho Day in Richmond.
