Looks like Mount Pleasant has a new spot for your next caffeine fix!
Just Another, a coffee shop and wine bar that originally opened in 2022 in Greektown (West Broadway), has quietly launched a second location in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood.
The new cafe was discovered by a Noms Mag community member (@thecafebuzz) and it’s already catching attention for its surprising size and cozy aesthetic.
At first glance, it looks like a non-descript building that blends in with all the industrial blocks in this area of the neighbourhoood.
But step inside, and you’ll find a warm and calming space with wood-accented furniture, tall leafy plants, and lots of natural light flooding in through the windows.
It’s the kind of place where you can curl up in an armchair beside a record player and forget about the troubles of sky high rent and costs in the city.
Up front is the cafe, while the back houses a massive test kitchen, roastery, and bakery kitchen.
On the menu, you’ll find your usual coffee shop staples alongside some more creative drinks like a honey oat latte, strawberry hibiscus matcha, and Rosemary’s Latte made with charred rosemary maple syrup.
Food and baked goods are still limited for now, but it’s expected to expand over time to match their flagship West Broadway offerings.
Unlike their flagship location though, this one is sticking with the daytime coffee shop concept and won’t take on the evening wine bar side of things.
From what we’ve heard, the coffee shop is currently only running on weekdays.
The Mount Pleasant Just Another cafe now joins a list of new Vancouver food spots like Burger Zoghali, Daan Go, and Handson Steak.
