1. The Roof at Black & Blue
If you’re all about aesthetics and cute vibes, then The Roof patio at the top of Black & Blue would be the best choice in the city.
Recently the rooftop patio reopened with a garden theme that is STUNNING. It is decked out with a designed patio garden, complete with a feature wall made out of wood, and mounted with floating candles and lush foliage suspended above.
For food, try the jumbo tiger prawns cocktail, or share some Steak House Nachos. Feast on some Japanese Kobe Rib-eye, with some Fingerling Potatoes on the side.
This patio is perfect for photos and a menu that won’t break the bank.

2. Ancora Waterfront Dining – Downtown Vancouver
The name truly says it all. Set along Vancouver’s picturesque False Creek seawall, Ancora Waterfront Dining offers every diner gorgeous outdoor views, and scrumptious seafood.
It’s a must-visit spot if you’re looking for those breaths of fresh air, and a solid seafood meal too.
Enjoy some fresh oysters, or a vegetarian ceviche. Their spicy tuna rolls are amazing, so give them a try, or share the soft-shell crab tacos.
For your main, we recommend the Lobster and Shrimp Risotto. Basically…come here if you’re feeling seafood.

3. OEB Breakfast Co. – Yaletown
Touted as the one-star Michelin brunch joint, OEB Breakfast in Yaletown has the patio and food that will make anyone’s day.
Their brunch is stellar, yet creative. And the view lets you enjoy a dose of people watching and the outdoor view of the water.
Dig into a Traditional Benny, or their Get Shorty Rib Poutine. Try the Chunky Lobster Scramble, or go for gold with some Hog and Scallops.
If you’re in the mood for a hearty sandwich, go for The Big Ahi Tuna. You won’t regret it.
And if you fancy for a pick-me-up, their mimosa flight will do the trick.

4. Glowbal Restaurant – Downtown Vancouver
Located in Vancouver’s architectural landmark, TELUS Garden, Glowbal is firstly famous for its stunning North American cuisine, and secondly, its lively open kitchen and patio, taking your dining experience to a whole new level!
Big, bold, and impressive, Glowbal is promising to surprise you a lot once setting foot here.
Best-sellers include the famous Truffled Spaghetti & Signature Meatballs with meatballs using Wagyu beef, braised in marinara sauce, and topped with truffle pecorino all over the top!
And Queso Fundido, a rich, warm, one-skillet dip, topped with fresh tomato and green onions. Enjoy the gooey cheese and spicy kick from the chorizo and pepper jack.

If you want an epic atmosphere around your table, then Water St. Cafe is the place for you.
Set in the heart of historical Gastown, and just across from the iconic Steam Clock, with classic cobblestone streets, and beautiful old buildings surrounding it, this spot transports everyone to another era, and it is worth a visit.
Start off with some West Coast Crab Cakes, or share the Chickpea Hummus.
The Meatball and Gnocchi is a must-try House Speciality, and if not that then pasta! Which one? We suggest the Rigatoni with Italian Sausage.

With the newly designed, and whopping 1,765-square-foot patio, Coal Harbour H Tasting Lounge is all set to offer guests yet more memorable dining experiences.
The 50-seat space boasts chic lounge furniture, a fireplace that runs the length of the patio, and of course classic cocktails and cuisine.
Start off with some Truffle Fries, or go classic with a fresh Caesar Salad. The fish tacos are amazing, and we recommend you try them. If you’re vegan, get the burger.
Meat lovers should definitely try the HTL Smash Burger.
Tip: Happy Hour is daily from 3-5pm, with a wonderful selection of signature cocktails and bar menu.

7. Joe Fortes – Robson Street
A place that needs no introduction. Joe Fortes, as everyone knows, is not just a Robson Street seafood eatery, it’s an institution that rests in the very heart of Vancouver’s dining scene.
So, go enjoy a satisfying meal up on their outdoor rooftop garden, that just bursts with color and life.
The menu here is huge, but don’t get overwhelmed. Just go for the Lobster Roll, or some Cajun Crab.
We wouldn’t miss out on the Chicken Waffle either. Pair your meal with a glass of wine, or a delicious cocktail.

Set in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Park, and with a covered park-themed patio offering panoramic views of the city, Seasons in the Park will have you dining in style and enjoying every moment of your experience.
The food is great too, so don’t forget to eat.
Start off with the Skyline Platter, or some Slow Roasted Barbeque Ribs. Indulge yourself with Grass-fed Rack of Lamb, cooked to perfection in their wood fired grill.
For dessert? A fresh and popping Sunburnt Lemon Pie.

A popular gem in Vancouver’s food scene, this spot offers diners a rustically colorful atmosphere, and authentic Vietnamese street food that’s second to none.
Start off with a delicious Lychee Cocktail, and nibble on some Salad Rolls, or Crispy Prawn Fritters.
For your main, go for some classic Grilled Pork and Rice, Stir Fried Noodles with Beef, or their House Special Fried Rice.

This casual patio spot is a good place to take the kids, or just for a quick lunch stop.
You can’t miss their traditional Lebanese Cabbage Rolls, packed with ground (halal) lamb, minced pine nuts, organic brown rice, and mint.
We also recommend the Ocean Wise Albacore Tuna Mezze, or the Pan Seared Halloumi Cheese, which no one can resist.

There’s no better place to relax at than Livia Sweets on Commercial. This charming Insta-worthy bakery and cafe offers guests a super cute 16-seat patio which has taken its popularity to the next level.
Serving up artisan baguettes, potato buns, and other seasonal creations, this is a must-stop for any and everyone.
Dig into their Daily Eggs & Toast, or go for the Breakfast Sandwich loaded with a soft scramble, pickled onion, and a side of soup or salad.
For something more hearty, the Spaghetti Carbonara and Lasagne Bolognese are simply divine!

Enjoying fresh seafood and sipping wine while soaking in the sunny patio with waterfront views of the Marina always sounds so phenomenal, doesn’t it?
Then visit Province Marinaside to actually have that refined, elegant dining experience yourself.
Settle down with their Seafood Linguine, a combination of shrimp, scallops, crab, and chunks of lobster, then topped with tomatoes, a lot of garlic, and dry white wine.
You will love how flavorful it is without being overwhelmed! A straight 10-out-of-10 dish!
You might also want to try Grilled Avocado with Baby Shrimp as a side dish, which comes up with refreshing shrimp ceviche with a spicy kick, spooned into grilled avocado, and creamy cilantro sauce.

With its deep green foliage and bright pops of red umbrellas, everything about this eatery is cheerful and perfect for a pick-me-up meal.
Enjoy a light and crispy Tempura with a sweet dashi broth and a savory matcha salt. The nigiri is just amazing here, and we recommend the Hon Maguro Chutoro.
