Steveston Village is set to embrace a blast from the past as 50’s Burger gears up to bring its retro American diner charm to the neighbourhood.
With its roots in the Burnaby Edmonds area, this quaint eatery is known for transporting its customers away to the 1950s.
This is all thanks to its nostalgic retro decor and music!
The menu is a classic nod to the era, featuring diner favs like hamburgers, fish & chips, pulled pork, hot dogs, milkshakes, floats, lemonade, and more.
What sets 50’s Burger apart is its commitment to freshness and quality.
The diner takes pride in baking its own buns in-house, hand-pressing fresh sirloin patties, and cutting fries without any additives, preservatives, or fillers.
Every order is made fresh, ensuring that each bite is a testament to the diner’s dedication to a genuine, old-school dining experience.
While the Cocoru unit, the diner’s predecessor, had a brief run in the area, 50’s Burger is poised to make a lasting impression.
Although specific details about the new Steveston outpost are still under wraps, it’s expected that the diner will retain much of its 50’s vibe and menu offerings.
The only 2 things likely missing? The drive-thru experience and the heritage neon sign.
According to Richmond News, they are slated to open in mid-February.
