Another Downtown Vancouver restaurant has quietly disappeared, with the awning, signage, and door wrap all swapped out before anyone announced anything.
Eldoria BBQ and Bar, the rib-and-burger spot that opened along Robson Street in November 2025, has shut down after roughly five months of operation.
We walked by the unit earlier this week and found the old branding already gone, with Solo Pocha, a new Korean street pub, now claiming the awning and front door.

Eldoria is still listed as open on Google, but several recent reviews note the restaurant has been closed for about a month, which means the shutdown happened silently with no announcement.
Eldoria took over the previous Ole Chicken unit on Robson and pitched itself as a casual BBQ and bar concept centered on flame-grilled ribs, house burgers, and cold pints.
The menu leaned on shareable plates, including full rib racks, crispy wings, combo platters for two to six people, and a signature burger built around a grilled red bell pepper instead of a bun.

A free-to-play arcade machine inside the dining room awarded the monthly high scorer a complimentary full rack of ribs, a hook that was meant to pull in group diners and late-night regulars.
But sadly, the run for this spot was over quickly.
Eldoria joins the list of recent Vancouver food closures like Lattea Robson, Swiss Bakery UBC, and Sedap Plus.
