An Ontario juice and bubble tea chain with a 50-year history is making its first move into Richmond.
A Noms Magazine community member (Tom) spotted new signage for Freshly Squeezed inside Lansdowne Centre’s food court.

The chain has taken over the previous My Coffee space.
No opening date has been shared yet.
Freshly Squeezed was founded back in 1976 at Scarborough Town Centre in Ontario, operating under the name Orange Cup at the time.
The Ontario original launched with a single orange juice machine and squeezed-to-order cups, a setup that has since grown into one of Canada’s larger juice-bar chains.
The brand has since expanded across most of the country, with stores in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia.
In BC, the chain already operates mall locations in Victoria, West Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, and Tsawwassen Mills.

Lansdowne marks its first Richmond location.
The menu has come a long way from a single orange juice machine.
Expect fresh juice, cold-pressed bottles, smoothies, veggie smoothies, veggie juice, slushes, energy drinks, and a full bubble tea lineup that includes milky tea, fruit tea, brown sugar, and matcha.
The brand also rolled out a Dubai chocolate series across its locations, riding the same flavour wave that has filled cafe display cases this year.

The Lansdowne arrival lands during a notably active stretch for the food court.
Katte recently closed, while Grill King and Grain Fish Rice have both been under renovation.
Popular HK-style cafe stall One Cafe is also preparing for an upcoming arrival inside the same food court.

The activity is tied to the bigger picture for Lansdowne Centre, which is set to be redeveloped in phases over at least the next decade.
That phased timeline explains why chains like Cotti Coffee and Baskin Robbins have continued to move into the mall rather than wait it out.
Across the rest of Richmond, Freshly Squeezed joins a growing list of upcoming spots that includes HE MADE, Meeting in Chang’an, and Spice & Sea.
