Big news for UBC students and hot pot lovers!
Big Way, the city’s go-to self-serve hot pot brand, is once again expanding and continuing its local dominance.
This time their next target is the University of British Columbia.
They’ll be setting up shop in the International Village area (by McDonald’s).
Big Way is on a roll as they recently opened their Kerrisdale outpost this February and are in progress for their second Richmond outpost and new Lougheed location.
Big Way has shared with Noms Magazine that they’ll be bringing their beloved self-serve hot pot experience to UBC in July or August this year.
This new location in the International Village area (specific unit not disclosed) is just blocks away from the bus loop and other food spots, and is sure to become a hot spot for students.
Just imagine going for some bomb hot pot after a long study sesh?
Whether you’re in the mood for a light meal or feeling indulgent, Big Way’s pricing model allows for maximum flexibility.
And in usual Big Way fashion, they’ll have a unique interior that is created based on the customers in the area.
Big Way further shared with Noms Magazine that the Richmond Akroyd location is also slated to be completed this summer.
