Get 50% Off Your Restaurant Bill: Dining Platform ‘First Table’ Debuts in Vancouver

There’s an early Christmas present for all Vancouverites who appreciate fine dining downtown. First Table is coming in town.

First launched in New Zealand in 2014, First Table is a global online dining platform which connects restaurant-goers with restaurants that are signatories to the platform. Those who sign up on First Table are able to get 50% off the food bill at specific time intervals during the day such as the beginning of the evening when visits to restaurants are still quiet.

Vancouverites can start using this wallet-friendly platform from Thursday, November 14. You can make bookings with it for 22 restaurants downtown Vancouver, and some of these include heavy hitters like Ancora Ambleside, Fable Diner, La Mezcaleria Gastown, Nicli Antica Pizzeria and Papi’s Seafood and Oyster, which by the way also have a new chef and menu.

We’re proud to make our North American debut in Vancouver. Our concept is a real win-win for diners and restaurants–we bring people together to enjoy new dining experiences and support restaurateurs by getting their night off to a good start. We look forward to helping food lovers save money by dining early and exploring all of the amazing restaurants that help make this city a world-class food destination.

How will it work? Every week, participating Vancouver restaurants will list their ‘first tables’ for the upcoming seven days on the First Table website. Diners should then pay a $10 booking fee to get a table at the restaurant of their choice and receive 50% off the food bill later. The booking can be used for two to four people.

Since First Table is debuting on North American soil, new members are also to receive a $5 credit towards their first booking fee. To claim it, just go through the quick registration here and submit the promo code FIRSTTABLECA latest by November 30.

So, do you already have an idea where to with your First Table booking?
