Itโ€™s finally June time in April.

And Cambie Village just got a whole lot hotter with its new addition.

After months of anticipation (and a few delaysโ€”classic Vancouver opening energy), June is officially here.

The sleek, brasserie-inspired spot from the same award-winning crew behind The Keefer Bar will officially open and begin pouring, starting April 10.

(soft open phase will be April 4 – 9)

Back in July, we first shared the news about June moving into the old Biercraft unit on Cambie.

Now, nearly a year later, the two-level restaurant-meets-cocktail-haven is ready to welcome Vancouverites with open arms and clinking glasses.

Upstairs, you’ll find French-inspired West Coast fare thatโ€™s elevated but not too serious.

Think: scallops in citrus beurre blanc, beef tartare with calvados and chips, and halibut in saffron and spring veggies.

And yes, steak frites made the cut.

Theyโ€™re also serving some cheeky snacks for happy hour and late-night cravings like mini ham sandwiches (aka Mini Hammies) and a June Dog.

Helming the kitchen is Connor Sperling, whoโ€™s flexed his skills at Published on Main and Boulevard, so yeah, your taste buds are in very capable hands.

Downstairs (coming soon), expect a cocktail program thatโ€™s as vibey as the lighting.

Led by Amber Bruce, Satoshi Yonemori (prev. Grapes & Soda), and Riley Maggs, the drink lineup brings the botanical drama with French-Japanese twists.

Get ready for creations like the Genmaicha Clover Club or the neon-hued Blue Fizz with blue banana and calpico.

Yes, blue banana is a real thing.

So is their exclusive craft ice program.

The downstairs bar is still under wraps, but when it opens, it promises to bring those late-night Keefer-style feels to Cambie.

Inside, itโ€™s giving moody, sexy Paris meets West Coast chic.

Mexico City-based architect Hรฉctor Esrawe transformed the space with green ceramic tiles, copper accents, a wrap-around wood ceiling, and a glowing copper art installation that kind of makes you feel like you walked into an Art Deco greenhouse with martinis.

Itโ€™s intimate, itโ€™s vibey, itโ€™s got just the right amount of design flex.

For now, June is open for dinner seven nights a week from 5 p.m. till late, with limited reservations available online.
