If you live around the Marine Gateway, finding a great meal can be a real quest.

We know as our office is near the Canada Line Station and it is always a struggle figuring out where to eat – cause everything around is…mediocre.

We shared back in December that our community member spotted Kinton Ramen taking over the previous Pink Elephant Thai.

Well, the time is finally here as the owner shared with Noms Magazine that they will be soft opening this Friday, April 26th.

They also shared that they plan to be open from 11 AM to 11:30 PM if everything is smooth from the soft opening.

The grand opening itself will be set for early May.

Since its inception in May 2012, Kinton Ramen has established itself as a pioneering force in the ramen scene, boasting over 30 locations across Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.

Under the guidance of Executive Chef Aki Urata, Kinton Ramen has mastered the art of delivering top-notch dining experiences, one bowl at a time.

The secret to their success lies in their commitment to fresh ingredients, high-quality noodles, and broths that are a complex symphony of flavours.

The foundation of their beloved ramen is a meticulously crafted soup, combining rich pork bone stock, chicken stock, fish broth, and fresh vegetables.

A standout feature is the Kinton pork—Canadian, locally-sourced pork that is simmered to perfection in their signature broth.

This new Marine Gateway venue marks Kinton Ramen’s fifth location in Metro Vancouver, following closely on the heels of their new opening on Robson Street.

Judging by the size and interior, it closely resembles the Robson Street location as well.
