9 New Richmond Restaurants That Just Opened, From a Hong Kong Cart Noodle Return to Steveston Meatballs

Richmond has been on a tear this past month.

Nine new spots opened across the food courts, malls, and side streets, with the standout being Wo Fung Noodle Express returning after a 30-year original run ended last December.

Here is everything that just landed in Richmond.

1. Wo Fung Noodle Express

The legendary Hong Kong cart noodle spot is back after closing in December 2025.

The family briefly tried a different concept called Wah Shang Kitchen in April 2026 before pivoting back to the build-your-own bowls and HK snacks that built the name.

Reopened May 6 at the same Park Rd address.

Address: 8088 Park Rd, Richmond, BC V6Y 2C4
