Helka Cafe has quietly shut its doors.
We walked past the Davie Street cafe recently and noticed the windows covered up.
And a quick glance at their Google Business Listing confirms the news: Permanently Closed.
Helka Cafe first opened in November 2022 and has an impressive 4.9-star rating on Google.
Locals and visitors praised its delicious breakfast options like avocado toast, its specialty lattes, and the friendly service.
Many highlighted its inviting atmosphere and reasonable prices, making it a reliable stop for coffee lovers and casual diners.
The closure seems to have happened recently, as the owner was still responding to customer reviews just last week.
But despite its extremely solid rating, Helka Cafe joins the growing list of West End businesses that have shuttered in recent months.
