Richmond just got a sweet new retro HK street snack spot.
After months of waiting, longtime dessert joint Snackshot has officially soft opened its newest location inside Continental Shopping Centre on March 28th.
You might remember back in October 2024 when we reported about how they’re relocating from Granville to Richmond.

If you’ve never been, Snackshot isn’t just about desserts.
The family-run business has been serving iconic Hong Kong-style sweets and snacks since 2017, with dishes like curry fish balls, siu mai, and chewy rice rolls drenched in peanut butter and soy sauce.
They’re also the ones behind those viral Mahjong Tile desserts that blew up Instagram—yes, those are still on the menu here, along with their signature bulldog drinks, sweet soups, peach gum, and HK-style beverages.
Their new Richmond location has completely transformed a former hair salon into what looks like a retro HK alleyway, complete with vintage signage, Supreme skateboard decks, and a wall of mahjong tiles.
Like their other locations, you’ll find nostalgic characters and toys scattered around that gives each part of the shop something to inspect.
And to celebrate their soft opening, from March 28 to April 3 you can get tofu pudding for $1 with any purchase while quantities last.
Hours during the week are very night market-coded: Monday to Thursday, 7pm to 12am, and Friday to Sunday, 3pm to 12am.
With Continental Shopping Centre and Union Square packed with dining options and Meet Fresh recently exiting the city, Snackshot will make for a great post-dinner dessert spot.
