Nemesis Coffee is bringing its signature blend of coffee, culture, and creativity to Surrey.
This marks its debut in the city with a brand-new location at the Surrey Pavilion in City Centre.
This highly anticipated fourth location is set to open its doors in February.
But it’s not just a copy & paste of their current location to Surrey for Nemesis—it’s bringing something fresh to the table, literally.
Along with their beloved brunch and pastries, the new Surrey location dubbed ‘Nemesis Pavilion’ will launch exclusive Dope Bakehouse donuts, reimagining nostalgic flavours in a way only they can.
Co-Founder & CEO Jess Reno, who opened the first Nemesis in Gastown in 2017, couldn’t be more excited about the expansion.
“To see all the education going in, to see all these exciting new developments and the architecture. It’s very aligned with who we are and things that we love, and we’ve always wanted to be here. When this opportunity came, we had to jump on it. I think it’s one of all the most unique centres in Greater Vancouver.” Reno shared.
The Pavilion, with its modern design, community focus, and emphasis on creativity, offers the perfect backdrop for Nemesis’s mission of building connections through coffee.
Every Nemesis location has its own unique design, and this one is no exception.
At 2,600 square feet, it seats 50 guests and will feature an expansive patio come summer.
Collaborating with Marcon’s design team, the interiors feature warm wood tones, sleek steel, and glass, blending modern architecture with thoughtful hospitality.
Every detail, from lighting to sound, has been fine-tuned to create a seamless, inviting experience.
Just don’t expect another giant tulip (their GNW location) smack in the middle of Downtown Surrey though.
As always, Nemesis Pavilion will serve up its directly-traded coffees, ranging from pour-overs to expertly crafted espresso drinks.
The service team, led by senior operations manager Albert Tang, ensures every cup is brewed to perfection.
On the culinary side, chefs Mielye Mitchell and Lina Serrano will helm the kitchen, carrying forward their acclaimed brunch menu while adding the new donut creations exclusive to this location.
With a full pastry kitchen on-site, fresh pastries and donuts will be made throughout the day, promising a treat with every visit.
The Surrey Pavilion is looking to set itself as the new hub for community and creativity as the city continues to grow.
And Nemesis Pavilion is set to become a cornerstone of the neighbourhood.
