One of Richmond’s most well-known ramen spots is on the move.

Afuri Ramen + Dumpling has shared with Noms Magazine that they’ll be relocating their Richmond location to a larger commissary kitchen at 3600 Viking Way, Richmond (near IKEA).

This move is part of a strategic expansion plan that will allow them to enhance operations and better serve their growing customer base.

While the transition is underway, dine-in service at the Richmond City Center location will be temporarily unavailable.

But don’t worry, Afuri fans won’t have to wait too long—they plan to reopen for dine-in service at their new location on May 1, 2025.

In the meantime, all ramen noodles and soup broth will begin production at the new commissary kitchen starting in April.

Afuri first opened in BC back in January 2020, bringing their famous yuzu-infused ramen to Richmond before expanding to Main Street.

While their Yuzu Shio and Yuzu Shoyu Ramen have long been fan favourites, the brand has also recently introduced sushi rolls and hand rolls to its menu.

With this relocation, Afuri is setting itself up for future growth, ensuring they can continue to serve up their signature ramen and evolving menu with even greater efficiency.

For now, Richmond ramen lovers will need to sit tight until May for them to reopen at the new commissary location.
