Coquitlam Welcomes Cartems: The Beloved Donut Shop’s New Chapter After Downtown Closure.

Cartems Donuts, a beloved spot among Vancouver’s donut lovers, recently announced the closure of their original downtown location.

While the news brought a tinge of sadness to the city’s sweet tooth community, it was quickly followed by an exciting development.

Cartems is set to open a new location in Coquitlam, right by IKEA. This transition from downtown Vancouver to Coquitlam marks a new chapter for the local donut shop.

A Story of Resilience and Expansion

Cartems has always been more than a place for a quick sweet treat.

It’s a haven where baking creativity meets community warmth. Famed for its innovative flavours and scrumptious vegan options, Cartems has carved a special place in the hearts of Vancouver’s dessert lovers.

The closure of the West Pender shop, which was caused by the building’s demolition, marks the end of an era but also the beginning of an exciting new venture.

The exact date for the opening of the dine-in and storefront in Coquitlam is yet to be announced, but the donut brand ensures it is coming very soon.

Cartems’ expansion to Coquitlam is a significant step, offering residents the chance to indulge in their donuts without needing to venture into Downtown Vancouver.
