Okay, Kitsilano foodies, lean in.
Looks like the powerhouse Toptable Group is making a move onto West 4th.
You know Toptable – the ones behind some of Vancouver’s top restaurants and food spots like Elisa Steakhouse, CinCin, Blue Water Cafe, and the sweet treats at Thierry?
Yea them.
Well, thanks to a sharp-eyed Noms Mag community member (@vanfoodieparents), they spotted some new signage hinting at a new Toptable project coming soon.
The window coverings at the corner of West 4th and Vine are teasing “Hello, Kits!” and “A New Culinary Experience; Opening this Spring.”
This spot may ring a bell to locals as it was the former location of Browns Social House, which shut its doors back in 2021 and has sat empty since.
Naturally, we had to ask Toptable what’s up.
They confirmed to Noms Magazine that yes, something is brewing there, but they’re keeping the details under wraps for now.
So, what could it be?
The deep blue colour on the temporary signage has some whispering it might be Provisions, their Whistler Village all-day cafe market concept, making its Vancouver debut.
But honestly, it could be anything from their impressive roster or even a totally new concept designed just for Kits.
Whatever lands here, it is a win for the neighbourhood.
We’re definitely keeping our ears to the ground on this one and will update you the second we know more.
