19 Dine Out Vancouver Menus That Are Actually Worth It In 2023

Every year, Vancouverites look forward to the end of January for Dine Out. That’s because The Dine Out Vancouver Festival is the perfect time to explore both new restaurants and hit up some local favs via. fixed menus.

With so many restaurants participating, it was once a low-cost way to discover new places, but times have changed (not the fault of the festival or restaurants). Inflation and rising costs mean that restaurants are less likely to be able to provide a really good deal and diners are more aware of their budgets now than ever before.

And we’re not different – we’re being more frugal these days as well.

That’s why we’ve taken a look through all the participating Dine Out restaurants, separated them into their menu pricing tiers, and only included the ones that we think are:

1. Great Deal: Restaurants that are offering menus that are worth the price point or are a great deal. This may be based on comparing the prices from their regular menu with the Dine Out Menu.

2. Good Introduction: Restaurants that may have a high price of entry, but the Dine Out Menu makes for a slightly more affordable and brilliant introduction to the quality, flavors, and atmosphere of these establishments.

Now that is out of the way, here’s the breakdown of the Dine Out menus that are worth taking a deeper look at.

As much as these menus we’ve pinpointed are good for your wallet or a great introduction, Dine Out was partially created to help restaurants out during the slowest periods of the year (like right now). So even if a restaurant is NOT listed here, we highly highly recommend continuing to our local support restaurants.
